SEPA Direct Debit

SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) Direct Debit is a secure and reliable payment method that has been developed to process payments within the European Union.

If you have setup SEPA Direct Debit on the Payment Methods page in the Billwerk+ administration, the payment option will automatically be presented in Billwerk+ Checkout for charge session, recurring session and subscription session.

Note that the SEPA Direct Debit payment option is only presented if the currency is EUR.

SEPA Secure

If SEPA Secure has been enabled on the SEPA Direct Debit agreement, Billwerk+ Checkout will first redirect to TINK Account Check to verify bank account before returning to Billwerk+ Checkout to complete the payment.

Notice that when SEPA Secure is enabled, SEPA Direct Debit payments will not be supported on Embedded Checkout and Modal Checkout.
